I have mentioned that I enjoy music probably more than foodie stuff ... so it's been a thrill to be a part of a new band called CRB. We play family-friendly rock & roll. I play acoustic guitar and sing (mostly backup). The other musicians in this band are extraordinarily talented and have been very patient with me, a rank beginner in rock & roll. We had our first "real" gig at a school event and it was a blast. In the photo, that's George, our amazing lead guitar player; Marie, the best female vocalist I know; me; Dave, our lead singer and acoustic guitar player; Jim, our talented bass player peeking out from behind Dave; and Lee, who can play everything in the band, but usually is on keyboards. Unfortunately, you can't see Joe, our drummer who is an excellent vocalist in his own right. But that's not what this blog is about -- if you are interested, watch our myspace site!
